AN ACT

Relating to the financial administration of the Oregon Board of Investigators; and declaring an emergency.

 

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

 

      SECTION 1. For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of ORS 291.055 (1)(e), the following new fees, approved by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, for the Oregon Board of Investigators with authority to modify fees by administrative rule or which have not met the maximum amount prescribed by statute, are approved as follows:

 

     (1)    Examination Fees:

     (a)    Private Investigators..........................   $              40

     (b)    Operatives..........................................   $              40

     (c)     Exam Retake......................................   $              25

     (2)    Oregon State Police Background

              Check Fee...........................................   $              15

     (3)    Private Investigator Fees:

     (a)    Initial License.....................................   $            550

     (b)    Biennial License Renewal.................   $            550

     (c)     Inactive License.................................   $              50

     (d)    Late Renewal.....................................   $              25

     (4)    Operative Fees:

     (a)    Initial Registration.............................   $            275

     (b)    Biennial Registration Renewal.........   $            275

     (c)     Inactive Registration.........................   $              25

     (d)    Late Renewal.....................................   $              25

     (5)    Miscellaneous Fees:

     (a)    Mailing Lists.......................................   $    up to 50

     (b)    Certificate Copies..............................   $           2.50

     (c)     Replacement ID Card.......................   $              10

     (d)    Wall Certificate..................................   $              10

 

      SECTION 2. This 1999 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 1999 Act takes effect July 1, 1999.
