Relating to recordkeeping requirements of Construction Contractors Board.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. Section 2 of this 1999 Act is added to and made a part of ORS chapter 701.

SECTION 2. The Construction Contractors Board shall maintain and make available to the public a record of grievances made to the board against contractors that are registered under this chapter. The board shall separately record:

(1) Inquiries for which no investigation has taken place;

(2) Claims that are being processed but upon which action has not been completed;

(3) Claims that have been voluntarily settled by the contractor and the claimant;

(4) Claims that have resulted in a final order of the board to dismiss the claim; and

(5) Claims that have resulted in a final order of the board to require payment to the claimant.
