AN ACT
HB 5026
Relating to the financial
administration of certain health-related occupational licensing boards;
limiting expenditures; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $2,602,287 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the State Board of Barbers and Hairdressers.
SECTION 1a. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $812,681 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $421,605 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the State Board of Clinical Social Workers.
SECTION 3. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $1,405,532 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Oregon Board of Dentistry.
SECTION 4. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $61,700 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Board of Examiners of Licensed Dietitians.
SECTION 5. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $484,325 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal funds,
collected or received by the State Board of Massage Technicians.
SECTION 6. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $310,938 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional
Counselors and Therapists.
SECTION 7. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $928,958 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the State Mortuary and Cemetery Board.
SECTION 8. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $414,833 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Board of Naturopathic Examiners.
SECTION 9. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $190,117 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Board of Examiners of Nursing Home
Administrators.
SECTION 10. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $219,077 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Occupational Therapy Licensing Board.
SECTION 11. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $2,165,012 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the State Board of Pharmacy.
SECTION 12. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $434,977 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Physical Therapist Licensing Board.
SECTION 13. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $151,433 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the State Board of Examiners for
Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
SECTION 14. Notwithstanding any other law, the amount
of $419,401 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the
maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Oregon State Veterinary Medical Examining
Board.
SECTION 15. Notwithstanding any other law, all sections
of this 1999 Act are subject to Oregon Department of Administrative Services
rules related to allotting, controlling, and encumbering funds.
SECTION 16. This 1999 Act being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is
declared to exist, and this 1999 Act takes effectApproved by the Governor on its passage.
