AN ACT

Relating to state financial administration; appropriating money; and declaring an emergency.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. There is appropriated to the Oregon Department of Administrative Services from the General Fund, for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, the sum of $3,350,509 for Oregon Public Broadcasting.

SECTION 2. Allocations of funding authorized by section 1 of this 1999 Act shall be made in an amount equal to one-eighth of the authorized appropriation for the biennial period on the first day of each quarter beginning July 1, 1999.

SECTION 3. This 1999 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 1999 Act takes effect July 1, 1999.
