Relating to the governing boards of districts.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. Section 2 of this 1999 Act is added to and made a part of ORS chapter 198.

SECTION 2. A district, by an ordinance or resolution that takes effect at least one year prior to the date of the regular district election, may provide that any individual who is an employee of the district is not eligible to serve as a member of the governing board of the district by which the individual is employed.
