AN ACT

Relating to the financial administration of the Department of Consumer and Business Services; and declaring an emergency.

 

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

 

      SECTION 1. For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of ORS 291.055 (1)(e), the following fee increases, approved by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, for the Department of Consumer and Business Services, Building Codes Division, with authority to modify fees by administrative rule or which have not met the maximum amount prescribed by statute, are approved as follows:

 

     (1)   Manufactured dwelling in-plant

            inspection fee.............................................   $       40 per

                                                                             floor inspected

     (2)   State code development/

            training/monitoring fee.............................   $              30

     (3)   Electrical permit and

            inspection fees

     (a)   Residential electrical wiring

     (A)  Not more than 1,000 sq. ft.

            permit fee...................................................   $            106

     (B)  Each additional 500 sq. ft.

            permit fee...................................................   $              19

     (b)   Manufactured home or modular

            dwelling permit fee including

            service or feeder........................................   $              50

     (c)   Limited energy 1 & 2 family

            residential permit fee................................   $              25

     (d)   Limited energy multifamily

            residential permit fee................................   $              45

     (e)   Permanent service or feeder

            permit fee

     (A)  200 amps or less.........................................   $              63

     (B)  201-400 amps.............................................   $              75

     (C)  401-600 amps                            $             125

     (D)  601-1,000 amps                         $             163

     (E)  Over 1,000 amps                      $             375

     (f)   Temporary service or temporary

            feeder permit fee

            review fee of building valuation

 

     SECTION 2. This 1999 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 1999 Act takes effect July 1, 1999.
