Relating to youths.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. (1) The Juvenile Justice Information
System, an electronic information system administered by the state through the
Oregon Youth Authority, is established. The youth authority shall adopt rules
governing the administration of the Juvenile Justice Information System
including, but not limited to:
(a) Confidentiality of
information;
(b) State and county roles
and costs; and
(c) County reporting
requirements.
(2) The youth authority
shall develop and administer the Juvenile Justice Information System according
to the Criminal Justice Information Standards program established under ORS
181.715.
(3) Counties shall provide
the youth authority with required data elements in the format required by the
rules of the youth authority at no cost to the state.
