AN ACT

 

HB 5054

 

Relating to the financial administration of the Department of Transportation; and declaring an emergency.

 

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

 

      SECTION 1. For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of ORS 291.055 (1)(e), the following new fees, approved by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, for the Department of Transportation with authority to modify fees by administrative rule or which have not met the maximum amount prescribed by statute, are approved as follows:

 

      (1)     Airport/heliport site inspection

               fee cost of on-site

               inspection not to exceed.......................... $                     300

      (2)     Evaluation of private tollway

               proposals

      (a)     Initial review............................................ $                  5,000

      (b)    Detailed evaluation.................................. $                40,000        

 

      SECTION 2. For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of ORS 291.055 (1)(e), the following fee increases, approved by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, for the Department of Transportation with authority to modify fees by administrative rule or which have not met the maximum amount prescribed by statute, are approved as follows:

 

      (1)     Parking permit fees for winter

               recreation parking areas

      (a)     One-day permit....................................... $                         2

      (b)    Three-day permit.................................... $                    3.50

      (c)     Annual permit......................................... $                       10

      (2)     Driver and Motor Vehicle

               Services

      (a)     Records list.............................................. $                     700

      (b)    Account setup.......................................... $                       70

      (c)     DUII/Diversion list.................................. $                    7.50

      (d)    Hearing tape............................................ $                         6

 

      SECTION 3. This 1999 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 1999 Act takes effect July 1, 1999.
