AN ACT
SB 5547
Relating to state financial
administration; appropriating money; limiting expenditures; and declaring an
emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other law,
appropriations made from the General Fund for the biennium beginning July 1,
1999, for the following state agencies for adjustments of assessments of the
Division of Audits of the office of the Secretary of State, reductions of
Oregon Department of Administrative Services assessments and reduction of the
Employment Relations Board's assessment rate are adjusted as follows:

expenditures from other fund sources established for the biennium beginning
July 1, 1999, the limitations for the following state agencies for adjustments
of assessments of the Division of Audits of the office of the Secretary of
State, reductions of Oregon Department of Administrative Services assessments
and reduction of the Employment Relations Board's assessment rate are adjusted

the limitations for the following state agencies for adjustments of assessments
of the Division of Audits of the office of the Secretary of State, reductions
of Oregon Department of Administrative Services assessments and reduction of
the Employment Relations Board's assessment rate are adjusted as follows:

SECTION 4. (1) Notwithstanding any other law, the
limitation on expenditures established by section 3 (1), chapter 780,
Oregon Laws 1999 (Enrolled House Bill 5015), for the fiscal year beginning July
1, 1999, as the maximum limit for payment of expenses from lottery funds
allocated from the Administrative Services Economic Development Fund to the
Economic Development Department for administration of department and community
development programs is reduced by $28,608.
(2) Notwithstanding any
other law, the limitation on expenditures established by section 3 (5), chapter
780, Oregon Laws 1999 (Enrolled House Bill 5015), for the fiscal year beginning
July 1, 1999, as the maximum limit for payment of expenses from lottery funds
allocated from the Administrative Services Economic Development Fund to the
Economic Development Department for the Oregon Tourism Commission is reduced by
$2,994.
SECTION 5. Notwithstanding any other law, sections 1
to 4 of this 1999 Act are subject to Oregon Department of Administrative
Services rules related to allotting, controlling and encumbering funds.
SECTION 6. This 1999 Act being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is
declared to exist, and this 1999 Act takes effect July 1, 1999.
