Relating to Tillamook State
Forest; and appropriating money.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. (1) The State Forestry Department may
receive and disburse gifts, grants, bequests, endowments and donations of labor
and material from public and private sources for the purpose of developing and
operating a forest interpretation and education center in the Tillamook State
Forest.
(2) The Tillamook Forest
Interpretive Center Fund is created in the State Treasury, separate and
distinct from the General Fund. All moneys received by the State Forestry
Department under subsection (1) of this section shall be paid into the State
Treasury and credited to the Tillamook Forest Interpretive Center Fund. All
interest earned by the fund shall be credited to the fund.
(3) All moneys in the
Tillamook Forest Interpretive Center Fund are continuously appropriated to the
State Forestry Department and may be expended only for the purposes specified
in the gift or donation, or, if no purpose is specified, only for the purpose
of forest interpretation and education.
