AN ACT

Relating to the Oregon Advanced Technology Center program; appropriating money; and declaring an emergency.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. In addition to and not in lieu of any other appropriation, there is appropriated to the Office of Community College Services, for the biennium beginning July 1, 1999, out of the General Fund, the sum of $100,000 for the establishment of an Oregon Advanced Technology Center in southern Oregon through the Oregon Advanced Technology Center program authorized by ORS 329.930 (3).

SECTION 2. This 1999 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 1999 Act takes effect July 1, 1999.
