AN ACT

SB 1337

Relating to elections; and declaring an emergency.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. If House Bill 2082 is referred to the people by petition under section 1 (3)(b), Article IV of the Oregon Constitution, it shall be submitted to the people for their approval or rejection at a special election held throughout this state on the same date as the next biennial primary election.

SECTION 2. This 1999 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 1999 Act takes effect on its passage.
