Biography

Brian Clem is a 5th generation Oregonian, born and raised in Coos Bay. After serving as Student Body President, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oregon State University.

After college, he worked for Oregon State Senator Cliff Trow before moving on to work for United States Senator Ron Wyden.

Brian has been appointed by two governors to the Oregon Student Assistance Commission and was serving in his 4th term as its chair and his second term as President of the Salem City Club before resigning to serve House District 21.

In 2000, Brian established his own small business, OnSite PC Help and in 2010 he co-founded an international trading company, Pangaea Trading Company which focuses on exporting Oregon goods abroad.

He serves on the Boards of the Salem YMCA and the Willamette Academy.

He and his wife Carol live in south-central Salem near McKinley Elementary School with their active daughter Kohana and her super helpful grandmother Azusa!
