Committee Services Office Description
Committee Services provides research of issues and measures and legislative oversight assistance to members of the Senate and House of Representatives. The office provides professional staff for session and interim committees, task forces, and work groups. Our duties include assisting with the committee process as well as clerical support and official record-keeping duties.
Committee Services is a unit of Legislative Administration, established by the Legislative Administration Committee. The office has a limited number of staff who work during interim. However, during session the population of the office grows to meet the needs of the increased number of committees.
In addition to assisting legislators with committee work and research requests, we are always happy to help the public participate in and understand the legislative process.
