The Legislative Fiscal Office (LFO) is a permanent, non-partisan legislative service agency. It provides research, analysis, and evaluation of state expenditures, financial affairs, program administration, and agency organization. LFO also provides fiscal impact statements on legislative measures.

Committees staffed by LFO during the 2011 session included the Joint Committee on Ways and Means (comprised of one full committee and seven subcommittees) and the Joint Committee on Legislative Audits and Information Management & Technology.

Currently, during the 2011-13 interim, LFO staffs the Interim Joint Committee on Ways and Means, the Emergency Board, and the Joint Interim Committee on State Justice System Revenues.
