Town Hall Announcement

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Most of us have read in the paper or seen on the news the grim outlook for Oregon's budget in the next biennium.  Our state economist projects we could see a $4 billion shortfall, if not more, for 2009-2011. But there are actions we can take to stop the cycle of boom and bust in Oregon. Please join Rep. Ben Cannon, Rep. Michael Dembrow, and me, along with our special guests Senate Majority Leader Richard Devlin and Ways and Means Co-Chair Sen. Margaret Carter, as we discuss this biennium's budget, consider revenue options for the future, and look to you for your input.

The town hall is open to everyone, so please plan to join us.
