Guide to Planning Activities at the Capitol

Things to decide before scheduling
Choose a day and time for your event. Choose an alternate date in case your first choice is not available. Decide if you prefer a conference room, hearing room, the Galleria, front steps or other available space. Estimate how many people you expect to attend your event and decide if you will serve beverages or food. If reserving the Galleria, estimate how many chairs and tables you will need. Decide on the length of your event and the set-up and take-down time needed.

Building Use Policy
A detailed copy of the user’s policy is available on the legislative website at www.leg.state.or.us/capinfo/lac_policies.pdf.
