Welcome to my state legislative website. It's my honor to represent the citizens of House District 7, which includes portions of Douglas and Lane Counties.

It's also my honor to serve as the Republican House Speaker for the current term. For the first time in Oregon's history, the House of Representatives is evenly split between the parties. I share the duties of presiding over the chamber with Democratic House Speaker Arnie Roblan of Coos Bay.

Throughout the 76th Legislative Assembly, I will be focused on creating jobs, reforming state government and developing a fiscally-sustainable 2011-13 budget. If you are interesting in learning more about solutions I am proposing or supporting, please review the 2012 Jobs and Reform Agenda that I have developed with my House Republican colleagues.
