Representative Mike McLane
R - Powell Butte
District 55

Welcome to my Legislative Website! I am pleased you are here and hope you find the information useful.

I represent House District 55, which covers portions of Deschutes, Crook, Jackson, Klamath and Lake Counties. I am also privileged to serve as House Republican Leader. You can find more information about my district and the House Republican Caucus by clicking the links to the left.

The 2011 Legislative Session was marked by bipartisanship and co-governance. Democrats and Republicans worked together to balance the state budget without raising taxes and set money aside to help the state get through some tough economic years. With an even brighter outlook for Oregon’s economy in 2013, I am hopeful we can achieve the same level of bipartisanship and help all Oregonians prosper.

In Central Oregon, I will be focusing on creating jobs through business, agriculture and natural resource legislation. For example, I worked diligently on water issues in the 2011 Session and plan to continue that work in 2013.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can assist you in any way. You can find updates on the legislative session on Facebook and Twitter. If you have concerns about specific issues, need help navigating your state government or want to sign up for my e-newsletter, please send me an email at rep.mikemclane@state.or.us.

It is a pleasure to serve you in the Oregon House of Representatives, and I look forward to a successful 2013 Legislative Session!
