Gresham, OR Also, there’s another public event that will soon be taking place in our area. The Legislature's Redistricting Committee is currently holding hearings across the state to gather input from Oregonians about how the boundaries of legislative districts should be redrawn. This process occurs every ten years and determines new lines for each state House and state Senate district, as well as the boundaries for Oregon’s Congressional delegation. These district lines will be based on the new Oregon census numbers and on testimony taken from people across Oregon about what defines a “community of interest.” You can visit the Legislature's website to
