Statement by Senate President Peter Courtney

“I was pleased to learn today that we will be able to continue to fund important priorities like providing schools and healthcare for our children; and maintaining our prisons to keep Oregonians safe.

 

“Today is a good day made possible because beginning in the 2007 session and continuing in February, Democrats and Republicans have worked together to chart a responsible fiscal course – a course that will allow us to continue to avoid economic storms.”
