Lochner, Dupras Complete
Senate President’s Staff
(SALEM) – Senate President Peter Courtney Tuesday announced the hiring of Sarah Lochner as policy analyst and Deb Dupras as office manager/scheduler.
Lochner, a native of Missouri, previously served as Senior Legislative Assistant for former U.S. Rep. Dennis Moore (D-Kansas). Most recently she worked as field director for Carl Hosticka’s campaign for the Oregon House of Representatives. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and a master’s degree in Political Science, both from Kansas State University.
“Sarah’s experience, both in Congress and in Oregon, will be an asset to the Senate and the entire Legislature. She has a history of working with members of both parties and finding solutions,” said Courtney (D-Salem/Gervais/Woodburn). “Deb has the personality and professional skills needed to provide the glue that holds the office together. We are excited to have both of them join the team in the Senate President’s Office.”
Dupras joined Courtney’s staff in mid-October. She is a native of Longview, Washington, and attended Chemeketa Community College. Dupras, a mother of four, previously worked at Wall Insurance in Dallas.
Other members of Courtney’s staff include Chief of Staff Phil Bentley, Legislative Director Dana Richardson, Communications Director Robin Maxey and Legislative Assistant Debbie Miller.
