Senate Leaders Comment on Governor’s Recommended Budget

Statement from Senate President Peter Courtney

“I want to thank the governor for giving us a balanced budget. He’s shown us his plan to pay for it. He’s been honest about the tough votes. Everyone who has been involved in this process knows this won’t be the final budget, but he’s shown us his roadmap. Now our co-chairs and the Ways and Means Committee can roll up their sleeves and get to work.”
