REP. ESQUIVEL, REP. RICHARDSON TO HOST

MEDFORD TOWN HALL

MEDFORD—Rep. Sal Esquivel (R-Medford) and Rep. Dennis Richardson (R-Central Point) will host a legislative town hall on Saturday, March 21 at the Jackson County Library in Medford. The event will allow Rogue Valley residents to express their views on issues pending in the Oregon Legislature.

“We encourage all citizens to attend this meeting and share their thoughts and concerns,” Rep. Esquivel said. “Citizen feedback is essential as we make decisions affecting Oregon’s future.”

Rep. Esquivel and Rep. Richardson will discuss a variety of state issues, including the economy and the 2009-11 state budget.

“The Legislature faces many difficult decisions during the 2009 session, including how to address a $3 billion budget deficit,” Rep. Richardson said. “We will discuss these issues and encourage citizens to ask questions and make their voices heard.”

The town hall will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Jackson County Library’s Meeting Room, located at 205 South Central Avenue.
