Statement by Senate Majority Leader Diane Rosenbaum
On March 2013 Economic and Revenue Forecast
SALEM – Senate Majority Leader Diane Rosenbaum released the following statement this morning regarding the March 2013 Revenue Forecast:
“Today’s forecast shows that Oregon’s economic trend is positive, and we’re making slow and steady progress as people get back to work. This will enable us to create a budget that supports our schools, keeps our communities safe, and protects our most vulnerable.
“But there are still a lot of Oregonians out there who need our help. This session, Senate Democrats will work diligently to make government more efficient, so that we can invest in the critical services that Oregonians depend on. We will fight for policies that will accelerate our positive economic trend, supporting small businesses so that more Oregonians can get back on the job.”
