REP. WINGARD TO HOST LEGISLATIVE TOWN HALLS

IN WILSONVILLE, SHERWOOD

SALEM—Rep. Matt Wingard (R-Wilsonville) will hold legislative town halls with Sen. Larry George (R-Sherwood) this month in Wilsonville and Sherwood. The events will allow District 26 residents to express their views on issues pending in the Oregon Legislature.

“I encourage all citizens in Wilsonville, Sherwood and surrounding communities to attend these town halls and share their thoughts and concerns,” Rep. Wingard said. “The Legislature is facing many challenging issues in 2009. We’ll discuss sensible solutions for growing our economy and creating jobs, as well as other issues that are important to District 26.”

The Wilsonville town hall will be held on Thursday, March 19 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at City Hall, located at 29799 SW Town Center Loop E.

The Sherwood town hall will be held on Thursday, March 26 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Sherwood Senior Center, located at 21907 SW Sherwood Boulevard.

Both town halls are open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided.
