SALEM— House Republican Leader Bruce Hanna (R-Roseburg) has appointed Rep. Matt Wingard (R-Wilsonville) to a leadership position in the House Republican caucus. As the new Deputy Whip, Rep. Wingard will work with leadership and the caucus to help advance the caucus’ agenda in the Legislature.
“The House Republican leadership is pleased with Rep. Wingard’s
work ethic and dedication to his district,” Rep. Hanna said. “In recognition of
his tireless service to his constituents and fellow caucus members, I have
appointed Rep. Wingard as Deputy Whip effective immediately. I’m pleased to
bring Matt into our leadership team as the caucus works to get Oregon back on
the right track.”
Through the appointment, Rep. Wingard was recognized for his
ability to introduce and pass bills through the legislative process, including
