 Town Hall on Foreclosure Mediation

 

Please join me and fellow legislators representing Portland at a joint town hall on Oregon’s new foreclosure mediation program on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 6:00-8:00pm at SEIU Local 49 in Portland.

 

The joint town hall will give Portland residents an opportunity to engage with legislators and foreclosure experts, receive resources on foreclosure prevention and homeowner protection and receive valuable information on how mediation can help.  

 

The Foreclosure Avoidance Mediation Program begins on July 11, 2012. The program is for two types of homeowners: Homeowners who have received a “Notice of Mediation” from their lender after July 11, and homeowners who are “at-risk” of default and who wish to mediate with their lender.
