As Oregon’s economy recovers, Senate Democrats will set the right priorities to protect critical services and get Oregonians back to work. We will work to get spending under control by improving government efficiency and ending ineffective tax breaks, while looking out for children, seniors, small businesses, and our most vulnerable. In the 2013 Legislative Session, Senate Democrats will:

• Champion the Needs of Small Businesses, Put Oregonians Back to Work
• Invest in Public Schools and 21st Century Skills Training
• Stand Up for Middle Class Families
• Strengthen Rural Oregon Communities and Promote Economic Growth
• Prioritize Critical Services and Improve Government Efficiency

Our caucus members are dedicated to supporting these priorities. In addition to passing meaningful foreclosure reform, supporting small businesses and struggling families, and advancing major education and health care reforms, we will balance the state’s budget by prioritizing critical state services, cutting waste, and streamlining state government.
