Representative Greg Smith
R-Heppner
District 57

Welcome Message from Rep. Greg Smith

Dear Friends and Neighbors:

On January 10, 2011 I was sworn in for a sixth consecutive term as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives serving District 57. I’m very proud to be representing Union, Wallowa, Umatilla, and Morrow Counties.

The Oregon Legislature is a citizens legislature where your participation is essential. I hope you will give me a call, send me an e-mail, or write me a letter if there is something you want me to know. Even better, the door to my office is always open – so come on in.

An idea for a law can come from anyone: an individual or group of citizens, a legislator or legislative committee, the Governor, or the Judicial Branch. I encourage you to contact me if you have an idea that you believe could become good public policy for the citizens of Oregon. Please visit “How an Idea Becomes a Law” for an informative diagram on how the process works.

If my office can help you track a piece of legislation, assist in finding the right government agency to help deal with an issue, or answer a question, just e-mail us at: rep.gregsmith@state.or.us. Our phone number is: (503) 986-1457 and our facsimile number is: (503) 986-1669. My mailing address is: 900 Court Street NE, Salem, Oregon 97301. We will do everything we can to assist your requests!
By working together, we can continue to accomplish great things for Northeastern Oregon.

Best regards,
