Welcome to my legislative website.  I am honored to be in the Oregon State House representing District 47.  As a born Oregonian and East Portland Native, I believe now is a time of big challenge and opportunity for East Portland and Mid-County.  And with strong community focus and a lot of hard work, we can make some real change: : ever better schools, improved health care, safer streets, a stronger and fairer economy, and a system that works as well for folks east of 205 as for folks west of it.

We are stronger together than we are apart, and our district can help lead Oregon forward.  As I try to live out these words in the legislature, I need your help to answer some of the tough questions I face. How do we solve the current budget shortfall?  How can we creatively "jujitsu" our economic woes into opportunities for progress? What legacy do we want to leave for future generations?

I deeply appreciate your engagement, and I hope you continue to be active in the process of deciding what we want for Oregon.

To get to balanced, citizen-based, progressive policy, we will need the engagement of citizens like you.  Fight on.
