Senator Chuck Thomsen was first elected to the Oregon Senate in November 2010 representing much of east Multnomah, east Clackamas, and Hood River Counties. In representing Senate District 26, Chuck has built off of his previous experiences as a pear farmer and former 16-year county commissioner. Entering the 2013 legislative session, Senator Thomsen currently resides within three important committees: full Ways and Means, Business and Transportation, and the Environment and Natural Resources Budget subcommittee, which allows Chuck to utilize his agricultural expertise.

Senator Thomsen’s mission is to use the necessary tools provided in order to give the people of Clackamas, Hood River, and Multnomah Counties a voice in our current legislative process. Chuck is readily available and always eager to engage with fellow community members, encouraging anyone living in Senate District 26 to contact him with ideas and concerns.
